- Hello Transport Team
- Company News
Behind every shipment is someone who answered the customer's questions, put together a quote and made sure the booking was right. At Hello Transport, that person is often one of our sales agents. Our agents work remotely from many countries, and we are always interested in hearing from good ones. Here is what the role involves.
What agents do
- Speak with customers who have requested a quote, by phone and email.
- Explain the options: open or enclosed car transport, trailer types for heavy equipment, LTL or FTL for freight, RoRo for international moves.
- Prepare quotes using our pricing tools and carrier network.
- Book shipments and confirm the details with the customer.
- Follow up so customers always know what is happening, and build repeat business.
Dispatch, carrier sourcing, compliance, paperwork and payment collection are handled by our back-office team, so agents can spend their time with customers.
Who we look for
- People who are confident on the phone and write clear English.
- Sales, customer service, dispatch or freight experience helps, but it is not essential. Training covers our systems, pricing and lanes.
- Availability for a reasonable part of the U.S. business day, since our customers are in the United States.
- A reliable computer, a stable internet connection, a headset and a quiet place to work.
How agents are paid
Agents work as subcontractors and earn commission on the revenue they generate. The rate is confirmed in the offer. Commission is paid monthly by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal, with a statement showing the revenue generated, the rate applied and the net amount.
How to join
There are six steps from application to first commission: apply, get reviewed, get approved (an interview and a short practical assessment, then a formal offer), onboarding, start selling, and earn. Once shortlisted, applicants can follow their own progress in our HR portal.
